Meet Megan Thorson, AuD, CCC-A

Megan grew up in Cando, ND and graduated from the local high school. She earned her undergraduate degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead before completing her Doctor of Audiology degree at University of Nebraska–Lincoln. In 2012, she obtained her Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), which she proudly maintains today. Megan is a licensed audiologist and hearing instrument specialist in both North Dakota and Minnesota.

In 2022, she expanded her expertise by earning her Master of Business degree from the University of Mary. Megan spent over 14 years as an audiologist and department supervisor within her local health system before joining Heartland Hearing Professionals, where she continues her passion for improving patients’ quality of life through better hearing.

Megan lives in the Grand Forks area with her husband, Ryan, and their son, Aiden. Outside of work, she can often be found cheering on her son at hockey, baseball, and football games. She also enjoys unwinding with a good true crime story.
